Simple Acts of Kindness #2

Welcome back to the simple act of kindness blog series from

Victoria Cooper, host of the little decisions podcast!

I was a little surprised with myself in how long it took me to actually complete my first simple act of kindness task! Eight days! Eight days to buy my friend Sherrie coffee!!! That feels like it took too long. Maybe because I had to purchase something? I’m not sure…but the point is I can try for better next time! I didn’t even get a picture of both of us with our coffees! I got one of me that morning at least. Now you have to believe me because their is photographic evidence.

I kid, but I do so to also point out that I’m not doing these simple acts of kindness for bragging rights, I’m doing them to show that I live what I talk about. And, that the struggle can be real sometimes. Being kind, even on clear sky days isn’t always easy, but it is always worth it.

Back to why we are here! Remember the rules? Me neither.

Let’s make up new ones!

  1. locate Simple Acts of Kindness book somewhere on desk!
under Rainbow Brite…#adhd

2. Open book, crack spine in satisfying way and read challenge.

it takes up the whole page!

3. read challenge:

“Leave an encouraging note. If you notice someone in your office having a particularly bad day, stick a Post-it on her desk with an encouraging message. She will appreciate the kind words” page 50.

4. Translate challenge!

I work from home on this podcast, so my only colleague is my supposed producer Angel, and she’s a chihuahua so…

I’ve got it! I’ll find an opportunity to write kind words for someone in my family this week!
