Construction Update: August 2021
These photos were taken the beginning of August and show how close the project is to completion. The blue bike can clearly be seen from this angle. Benches, Bike Rings and Chandler Park metal sign are all still missing.
And below is a rendering that the Winterville Downtown Development Authority provided for what the end result will look like.
And this next rendering is a birdseye view of what Chandler park should look like come September.
According to the city website, the project is scheduled to be completed in September 2021, with the official dedication planned for October 14th.
The vision for the park will have several figures that are not yet placed. The classic Winterville bicycle is already in place.
